SAYWARD SECURES ELIMINATION OF LICENSE PLATE FEE
“Eliminating one of the myriad new taxes and fees created this year is a huge step in the right direction for all New Yorkers. County Clerks statewide have done a fantastic job in banding together to help us fight unnecessary taxes and fees in New York and their campaign against the implementation of new, costly license plates went a long way in securing their elimination. The new license plates were just one of many unnecessary and unfair new burdensome mandates created this year. Hopefully, we can use this victory as a springboard for reform during special session.”
