SAYWARD JOINS LOCAL SPORTSMEN AT "SPORTSMEN AWARENESS DAY"

Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward (R,I – Willsboro) today joined with sportsmen and outdoor enthusiasts from throughout New York at the Assembly Minority Conference’s Sportsmen and
Outdoor Recreation Awareness Day.
At the event, organizations specializing in hunting, fishing and other outdoor recreation activities provided information to those in attendance. Participants also had the opportunity to discuss sportsmen activities with local and state officials as well as give feedback about the role that these activities play in their lives.
“New York has a rich history of hunting, fishing, trapping and all sorts of outdoor recreational
activities,” said Sayward. “Our Constitutional Rights that we hold so dear to our hearts, such as the right to bear arms, must be defended. North Country residents grow up immersed in outdoor activities, and preserving that culture, as well as bolstering tourism are a must for the people of New York.”
