LEGISLATIVE INTERN AMANDA MULLAN HONORED FOR FINAL PROJECT

Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward (R,I – Willsboro) today announced that her intern for 2010, Amanda Mullan, has been honored by being selected as one of eight interns to have her final paper included in the Assembly Intern Distinguished Report.
16 nominees are selected from over 100 interns, and eight winners are then chosen by the Assembly Intern Committee. The report is then published and distributed to Assembly Members, honored interns and the universities they attend.
“Amanda has a great work ethic and has a very bright future ahead of her,” said Sayward. “She was a pleasure to have in the office and I wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors.”
Amanda, who wrote her final paper about the Marcellus Shale Region, is graduating from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, and will continue on to Cornell to pursue a Master’s Degree in Public Policy.
